2oz (60g) back leads that strike free of the line and are retrievable via a retaining cord. Ideal if you want to use a really heavy back lead but do not want the extra weight on the line whilst playing a fish. Enables tight lines to be fished along the bottom from margin to rig which enhances modern rig efficiency. Also great for river fishing - essential when there is boat traffic that could snare your mainline.

Tie cord or mono to the eye of the back lead and the other end to a bankstick or pod. Ensure the cord is long enough to reach the bottom. Set clip tension by twisting the barrel anti-clockwise to tighten. Clip to the line and allow the Captive Back Lead to slide down the mainline until the tether cord is extended and the lead reaches the bottom.
