For hot climates
Heavy Metal Plus is specifically formulated for use in extremely hot conditions. Its formula includes an additional ingredient that gives the putty more stability in heat wave conditions. The inclusion of microscopic fibres give the product added tenacity that acts as a heat shield when fishing in very high temperatures and warm water. When working the putty as normal to soften you will see that its structure feels substantially firmer and more solid than our standard Heavy Metal Extra.
Heavy Metal Extra has been designed for normal UK and Northern European climates. For fishing abroad in heat waves and very hot conditions Heavy Metal Plus is highly recommended.
Our range of Heavy Metal Super Putty is designed to transform by temperature. The warmer it becomes the softer and stickier it gets. As it cools down the firmer and harder it sets. When fishing in high temperatures we advise storing in a cool place making it easier to use.
